Morocco Confident Ahead of Arab Cup Quarterfinal Clash with Algeria

48 hours before the clash against the Algerian team in the quarter-finals of the FIFA Arab Cup, the Moroccan national team continues to prepare calmly, in order to win this decisive match.
After dominating their group in the group stage, the teammates of captain Badr Banoun will take on the Algerian team on Saturday, who showed little convincing during the first phase.
Without talking about the real level of their opponents, the captain of the Atlas Lions said he was confident in the team’s ability to beat the Fennecs and qualify for the semi-finals of the competition. "We still have three days to prepare for our match against Algeria. We will do our best to be up to the ambitions of the Moroccan public," he said.
And to add that "all the teams qualified for the quarter-finals are strong. On our side, we will focus on our style of play. We must be well focused from the beginning to the end of the match".
For his teammate Mohamed Chibi, Saturday’s match is quite ordinary. "Our goal is to qualify for the next match. We are much more focused on how we approach this match, not on the opponent".
