Morocco Aims for Arab Cup Glory After Strong Start Against Palestine

The Moroccan national football team is aiming to have a good run and win the Arab Cup, currently hosted by Qatar.
To this end, the national team is preparing match after match to reach the final. After a flying start, which saw the Lions overwhelm Palestine 4-0, Morocco is preparing to face Jordan for the second group match.
On the sidelines of this match, midfielder Walid El Karti confided to SRNT News about the state of mind of the Lions and the group’s ambitions for this edition. For him, the Moroccan players have already found their mark in the competition. The start against Palestine is a motivation to go further. Now, they will have to be efficient in all areas of the game, he said.
Showing prudence and realism, the Lion estimated that nothing is yet assured and that they will have to apply themselves match after match. "We have to stay focused on each match, because our goal is to go all the way and win the title in order to dedicate it to the Moroccan public," he said.
Regarding the matches against Jordan and Saudi Arabia, El Karti indicated that the main objective of the group is to achieve the same match as against Palestine: score and not concede a goal, in order to reach the next stage of the competition.
