Brazilian Referee to Officiate Morocco-Algeria Clash in Arab Cup Quarterfinal

The clash between Morocco and Algeria in the quarter-finals of the FIFA Arab Cup of football will be directed by a Brazilian.
According to information provided by FIFA, it is Wilton Pereira Sampaio, 39, who has just been appointed by the Referees’ Committee of the International Federation of Association Football.
For the record, the match will take place on Saturday at 8 p.m. Moroccan time. Led by Houcine Ammouta, the Atlas Lions are participating in this competition, the first of its kind, to win the title, the coach had declared during a press conference.
