Morocco Closes Popular Beaches as COVID-19 Cases Surge in Coastal Areas

Faced with the resurgence of Covid-19 cases, the municipality of Moulay Bousselham, north of the city of Kénitra, temporarily closed the beaches of Moulay Bousselham and Marja Zarqa on Monday.
According to Alyaoum24, this decision aims to preserve the health and safety of all citizens. Henceforth, the municipal authorities, fearing a resurgence of new infections, have called on all residents and vacationers to respect this decision.
It should be recalled that the city of Kénitra is one of the cities classified in zone 2. Its inhabitants are subject to the obligation to have a valid authorization issued by the competent authorities.
