Morocco Clinches 4th Place with 109 Medals at 2019 African Games

At the 12th African Games held in Morocco, the kingdom settled for 4th place. In total, 109 medals were won during this continental sports festival, which took place from August 19 to 31.
For this 12th edition of the African Games, Morocco has not failed to position itself in the top 4, notes the MAP. Since August 19, Moroccan athletes have fought in each of the events of these Games held in Rabat and several other cities.
Far behind the Egyptians, leaders of the 2019 edition of the Games, with a harvest of 273 medals, Nigeria with 127 and Algeria with 125, Morocco ranks 4th, with a bounty of 109 medals including 31 gold, 32 silver and 46 bronze.
This performance of Morocco, the host country, was not easy. The athletes gave their best to succeed in the challenge by winning all these medals that make the pride of the Kingdom, explains the same source.
