Morocco Dominates Arab Muay-Thai Championship with Four Gold Medals

Full house for Morocco at the Arab Muay-Thai Championship, which takes the first place, far ahead of the other countries.
In total, Morocco won four gold medals, three silver and one bronze. The United Arab Emirates follow with four gold medals. Egypt occupies the third place on the podium, with one gold medal, one silver and one bronze.
Belharcha Omaima (under 54 kg), Anas Lhibaoui (under 60 kg), Hamza Rachid (under 63.3 kg), and Soufiane Merzak (under 75 kg) are the fighters who won the gold medals for Morocco.
Ayoub Khaya (under 57 kg), Zahdi Abdelali (under 67 kg) and Abouloufae Ahmed (under 67 kg) won the silver medals. For her part, Kaoutar Modane (under 60 kg) won the only bronze medal.
At the end of the competition, Morocco was named the best team, the Moroccan Belharcha Omaima, the best athlete and Lahcen Ouassou, the best coach.
Confiding to MAP, Abdelkrim El Hilali, the President of the Royal Moroccan Federation of Kickboxing, Muay-Thai, Savate and Related Sports, praised the great performances of his athletes, who were able to impose themselves in this championship, which indeed recorded 120 participants from 16 countries.
