Morocco Captain Saïss Doubtful for Crucial AFCON Match Against Gabon

The captain of the Atlas Lions could not be in the match against Gabon, counting for the third and final group C match. The decision regarding the absence or not of Romain Saïss will be made this Monday evening at the end of the training session.
During the press conference held on Monday, the national coach, Vahid Halilhodzic, stated that Romain Saïss could not be lined up for the match against Gabon. According to the coach, the captain of the Atlas Lions is suffering from a cold that has forced him to rest.
Arrived in Cameroon several days after the Moroccan delegation, Saïss has not managed to acclimatize like his other teammates. However, his condition is not worrying since according to the coach’s remarks, he should participate in Monday’s training. "We will decide tonight whether he will play tomorrow or not," said Vahid Halilhodzic.
