Morocco Aims for Victory Against Gabon in AFCON Group Stage Finale

Changes are needed in the composition of the Moroccan football team for the match against Gabon scheduled for this evening, Vahid Halilhodžić said at the end of the training session.
"We will make a few changes, but the objective remains the same: victory." During the pre-match press conference against the Panthers, the coach of the Atlas Lions stressed that Morocco must seek victory and finish the group stage in style. "Not only the starters are concerned by this competition, but all the selected players will certainly have a role to play."
The coach praised the commitment of the players both during the training sessions and the matches. He specified that his role is to ensure that "the Moroccan team goes as far as possible." For him, this 3rd and final match is very important to determine who will be in first place. "We came here to finish first in the group. This is important for the rest of the competition, in more than one way," he stressed.
Vahid Halilhodžić called on his players to be more determined because Gabon has "a tough team that had a great game against Ghana." He said he was disappointed to learn that the competition had ended for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Mario Lemina. "Gabon did not deserve to continue the AFCON without these two great players. But there are still guys who can do the job. Against Gabon, the match will be difficult. We have to be at 100% to win."
