Morocco Advances in African Cup, but Coach Criticizes Offensive Struggles

National team coach Vahid Halilhodzic is not satisfied with the performance of his players, despite the victory over the Comoros and qualification for the second round of the CAN.
It’s done! Morocco is qualified for the round of 16 of the competition, thanks to its 2-0 victory over the Comoros, but without convincing the coach, who denounced the ineffectiveness of his team’s attack.
According to coach Vahid, of course, we must be pleased with the qualification, but a great effort still needs to be made at the level of the attack, given the many missed opportunities by his players.
"So many missed opportunities at this level, it’s weird. I’m not happy with the efficiency. Well, I prefer to create as many opportunities, even if we miss them. But when you miss so many opportunities, the opponent can score on a half-chance. But well, I don’t even know if they had one. We controlled well," he said.
It should be noted that the next match will be against Gabon. The Atlas Lions will do everything to win and take first place in the group, this time, we hope, with a much more inspired attack.
