Morocco’s Romain Saïss Draws Interest from Marseille After AFCON Victory

Moroccan players are in the sights of several European clubs who will closely follow their various performances at the Africa Cup of Nations. Scouts would even have already contacted Romain Saïss, the captain of the Atlas Lions.
Morocco’s victory over Ghana in the Africa Cup of Nations is already creating sparks. According to Al Akhbar, Romain Saïss has received an offer from Olympique Marseille for a transfer this winter transfer window. The French club plans to recruit the captain of the Moroccan national team to strengthen its squad.
The Moroccan defender will therefore be closely watched throughout his participation in the 33rd edition of the Africa Cup in Cameroon. OM considers that the captain of the Moroccan selection can be an asset for its workforce, especially with his performances with Morocco and also with Wolverhampton, where he has been several times named best defender of the English team.
Soufiane Boufal, player of Angers SCO, and scorer in the match against Ghana is also followed by talent scouts. He was applauded for his performance that allowed Morocco to beat Ghana.
Moroccan goalkeeper Yassine Bounou is no exception. Barça is seriously considering acquiring the services of this goalkeeper whose charisma is highly appreciated. On the list, there are also Italian and English clubs. Several recruiters are waiting to see the performances of Youssef En-Nesiry, from FC Seville as well as Ryan Mmaee, Ayoub El Kaabi and Ilyâs Chair.
