Morocco Braces for Scorching Heat as Temperatures Soar to 44°C (111°F)

It will still be very hot today, Wednesday, July 3, in Morocco, according to the forecasts just released by the National Meteorology Directorate (DMN).
Thus, this morning, it is expected to be 10 to 15 degrees on the reliefs, 15 to 20 degrees on the coasts and the northern and central plains, the Souss and the northwest of the southern provinces, 25 to 30 degrees on the far south and southeast, and 20 to 25 degrees on the rest of the country.
This afternoon, temperatures should rise significantly to reach 44 degrees. It will therefore be 23 to 28 degrees on the reliefs and near the coasts, 26 to 34 degrees on the north of the Oriental, the Saiss, the plains, the phosphate and Oulmès plateaus, the Souss and the northwest of the southern provinces, 34 to 39 degrees on the south of the Oriental, the southeastern slopes and the north of the southern provinces, and 39 to 44 degrees on the far south and southeast of the country.
The National Meteorology Directorate announces a slightly rough sea on the Mediterranean and the Strait. It will go from "slightly rough" to "rough" along the coast.
