Heatwave Hits Morocco: Temperatures Soar Across Southern and Eastern Regions

Hot weather is expected this Sunday, July 7, 2019, in most regions of Morocco, according to forecasts provided by the National Meteorology Directorate (DMN).
This weather will mainly affect the far south of the country, the Southeast and the Oriental, specifies the DMN.
In terms of temperatures, it will be 15 to 20 degrees on the reliefs, the coasts and the North and Central plains, the Souss and the northwest of the southern provinces, 24 to 29 degrees on the far south and southeast, and 19 to 24 degrees on the southeast slopes and the Oriental.
This afternoon, it will be 21 to 27 degrees on the reliefs, the Saïss, Oulmès, the North Atlantic plains and near the coasts, 28 to 33 degrees on the phosphate plateaus, the North and Central interior plains and north of the southern provinces, 31 to 42 degrees on the Oriental, the southeast slopes and the interior of the southern provinces, and between 40 and 44 degrees on the far southeast.
