Morocco Braces for Extreme Heat: Temperatures to Soar Up to 47°C (116°F) in Southeast

It is a scorching Sunday that is expected today in Morocco, especially in the southeast of the country and in the far south, announces the National Meteorology Directorate (DMN) in its daily bulletin.
According to these forecasts, it is expected on this July 14 from 16 to 22 degrees on the reliefs, the Tangier region, the Mediterranean, the Atlantic coasts and plains, the interior plains, the Souss and the Northwest of the southern provinces, from 22 to 27 degrees on the Oriental, the Saiss, the phosphate and Oulmès plateaus, the Tadla and Tensift plains, the Southeast slopes and the interior of the southern provinces and from 27 to 32 degrees on the Southeast and the far South of the country.
This afternoon, it will be 24 to 28 degrees near the coasts, 28 to 34 degrees on the reliefs, the Mediterranean and the Atlantic plains, 34 to 41 degrees on the Oriental, the Saiss, the interior plains, Oulmès, the Souss, and the West of the southern provinces, 41/47°C on the phosphate plateaus, the Tadla plains, the Southeast and the East and South of the southern provinces.
