Morocco Heatwave Returns: Temperatures Soar to 36°C After Brief Rain

The heat is back in Morocco, after a few rainy days, particularly in the south of the kingdom, with temperatures reaching up to 36 degrees. While on the coasts and Atlantic plains, low clouds are expected in the morning and at night, with foggy formations on the coasts and Atlantic and Mediterranean plains, some residual rain will be recorded in the far northwest, especially in the morning.
In the morning, the minimum temperatures will be around 2 to 4 degrees on the Atlas mountains, 4 to 11 degrees on the Rif, the Oriental, the Saiss, the phosphate and Oulmès plateaus, the interior of the Gharb and the southeast slopes, 11 to 17 degrees on the Mediterranean, the Tangier region, the northern and central plains, the Souss, the southeast, and the north of the southern provinces, and between 17 and 22 degrees on the far southeast and south of the country.
In the afternoon, it will be between 15 and 20 degrees on the Atlas mountains, the Rif, the north of the Oriental, the Mediterranean and the northwest of the country, 20 and 28 degrees on the Moulouya valley, the south of the Oriental, the Saiss, the phosphate and Oulmès plateaus, the northern and central plains, the southeast and the northwest of the southern provinces, and 28 and 36 degrees on the Souss, the far southeast and the rest of the southern provinces.
