Morocco Swelters as Temperatures Soar to 41°C (106°F) in Parts of Country

It will still be hot today over a large part of Morocco, with temperatures ranging between 5 and 41 degrees.
While hot weather could be observed in the Souss, the interior plains, the Southeast and the south of the country, with a slightly to partially cloudy sky over the High Atlas and clear to slightly cloudy elsewhere, low clouds are expected in the morning and at night, with some foggy formations in places on the coasts and the northern and central Atlantic plains.
In the morning, it will be 5 to 10 degrees on the Atlas and Rif reliefs, 10 to 16 degrees in the Oriental, the Saiss, the Mediterranean, the phosphate and Oulmès plateaus, the northern and central plains and 16 to 22 degrees on the Tadla, Rhamna, Souss, Southeast and southern provinces plains.
In the afternoon, temperatures will go wild and will be between 24 and 30 degrees on the Atlas reliefs, the Mediterranean coast and near the Atlantic coasts, 30 and 36 degrees on the Rif, the Oriental, the Saiss, the Gharb, the phosphate and Oulmès plateaus, the interior of Chaouia and Doukkala and the southeast slopes and 36 and 41 degrees on the Souss, the Tadla, Rhamna, Tensift plains, the interior of Abda and Chaouia and the southern provinces.
