Morocco Braces for Scorching Heat Wave as Temperatures Near 40°C (104°F)

High temperatures are still expected in Morocco this Thursday, May 7, according to forecasts from the National Meteorology Directorate (DMN). The thermometer should thus approach 40 degrees.
The heat wave will affect the Oriental, the Southeast and the interior plains while on the coasts and the Atlantic plains and the Mediterranean shore, night clouds could accumulate with foggy formations.
In the morning, temperatures will be between 10 and 15 degrees on the Atlas mountains, the Rif and the north of the Oriental, 20 and 26 degrees on the Southeast and the east of the southern provinces, 16 and 22 degrees elsewhere.
In the afternoon, temperatures will rise. It will therefore be between 21 and 27 degrees on the Atlas mountains, the Mediterranean coast and the Atlantic coasts, 28 and 34 degrees on the interior of Loukkos, the Oriental, the Saiss, the Rif, the plains to the west of the southern provinces, 35 and 39 degrees on the interior of the Souss, the phosphate and Oulmès plateaus and the west of the southern provinces, 35 and 39 degrees on the interior of the Souss, the Tadla, Tensift plains, the Southeast and the east of the southern provinces.
