Extreme Heatwave Grips Morocco as Temperatures Soar to 46°C (115°F)

The scorching temperatures continue to affect a large part of Morocco. This Monday, July 15, the mercury should reach 46 degrees, particularly in the south of the country.
The weather forecasts follow one another and resemble each other in recent days, with temperatures well above 40 degrees, reports the National Meteorology Directorate (DMN) in its daily bulletin.
This morning, 21 to 26 degrees are expected in the East, the Souss, the plains west of the Atlas, the South and the East of the Saharan provinces, and 16 to 21 degrees elsewhere.
In the afternoon, 29 to 34°C are expected on the Mediterranean, the Atlantic plains and the northwest of the southern provinces, 25 to 30 degrees near the coasts, 35 and 41 degrees on the East, the Saïss, the Rif, the Souss and the South, and 41 and 46 degrees on the southeast and northeast of the Saharan provinces.
