Morocco Braces for Scorching Heat Wave: Temperatures to Soar to 37°C (98.6°F)

A hot day is expected this Monday, April 6 in Morocco with a partially cloudy sky and temperatures reaching up to 37 degrees, mainly in the south of the country.
According to the forecasts of the National Meteorology Directorate (DMN), 2 to 8 degrees are expected on the Atlas and Rif reliefs, 8 to 14 degrees on the Oriental, the Mediterranean, the phosphate and Oulmès plateaus, and the southeastern slopes, 14 to 22 degrees on the Tangier region, the Saiss, the northern and central plains, the Souss, the Southeast and the southern provinces.
In the afternoon, 14 to 20 degrees are expected on the Atlas reliefs, the northern Oriental, the Rif, the Mediterranean and the Tangier region, 20 to 27 degrees on the southern Oriental, the Saiss, the Atlantic plains, the northern interior plains, the phosphate and Oulmès plateaus, the southeastern slopes and near the coasts, 27 to 33 degrees on the central interior plains, the Souss, the Southeast and the northern part of the southern provinces and 33 to 37 degrees on the rest of the southern provinces.
