Morocco Braces for Scorching 37°C Heat and Widespread Cloud Cover

Temperatures up to 37 degrees and frequent clouds over the entire country are expected today, Tuesday, April 7, announces the National Meteorology Directorate (DMN).
On the temperature side, 4 to 9 degrees are expected this morning on the Atlas and Rif mountains, 9 to 14 degrees on the Oriental, the Mediterranean, the phosphate and Oulmès plateaus, 14 to 19 degrees on the plains, the Southeast, the North of the southern provinces and near the Atlantic coasts and 15 to 20 degrees on the far South and Southeast of the country.
In the afternoon, temperatures should rise significantly, with highs between 16 and 21 degrees on the Atlas, the Rif and the Mediterranean, 21 and 26 degrees on the Oriental, the Tangier region and near the Atlantic coasts, 27 and 32 degrees on the Saiss, the plains, the Southeast and the North of the southern provinces, and 32 and 37 degrees on the Souss, the far Southeast of the southern provinces.
