Morocco Braces for Scorching Heatwave as Temperatures Soar Above 40°C

It will still be very hot this Friday, July 26, in the majority of the country, with temperatures well exceeding 40 degrees, announces the National Meteorology Directorate (DMN).
Thus, hot weather is expected inland, in the southeast and east of the southern provinces, the DMN specifies.
This morning, 22 to 27 degrees are expected in the Oriental, the plains west of the Atlas, the interior of the Souss and the southeast slopes, 26 to 32 degrees in the east of the southern provinces and the southeast, and 17 to 22 degrees elsewhere.
This afternoon, 23 to 30 degrees are expected near the coasts and on the Atlas reliefs, 32 to 37 degrees in the Oriental, the Saïss, the Rif, the Atlantic plains North and the west of the southern provinces, 37 to 43 degrees in the Tadla, Rhamna and Tensift plains, in the interior of the Souss, on the southeast slopes and the phosphate plateaus then the Oulmès, and 41 to 44 degrees in the east of the southern provinces and the extreme southeast of the Kingdom.
