Morocco Braces for Heatwave as Temperatures Soar to 38°C (100°F)

It should be hot this Tuesday, March 10 in Morocco, with temperatures well above 30 degrees, especially in the south of the country.
In its daily bulletin, the National Meteorology Directorate (DMN) announces rather hot weather, during the day, on the interior plains, the center and the South.
This morning, it is expected from 1 to 5 degrees, on the Atlas and the Rif reliefs, 05 to 11 degrees on the Oriental, the Saiss, the Mediterranean, the Tangier region, the phosphate and Oulmès plateaus, the northern plains and the south-eastern slopes, 11 to 17 degrees on the central plains, the Souss, the south-east and the north of the southern provinces, and from 17 to 24 degrees on the rest of the southern provinces.
In the afternoon, temperatures should rise significantly to reach 38 degrees in the south of the country. It is thus expected from 18 to 24 degrees on the Atlas, the Rif, the Mediterranean and the Oriental reliefs, 24 to 31 degrees on the Saiss, the phosphate and Oulmès plateaus, the northern and central plains, the south-east and the north of the southern provinces, and from 31 to 38 degrees on the Souss and the rest of the southern provinces.
