Morocco Braces for Heat Wave and Mountain Thunderstorms, DMN Forecasts

It is still a hot day that is forecast for this Friday, March 13 in Morocco, according to the National Meteorology Directorate (DMN), which also announces thunderstorms, especially in the mountains.
Thus, today, 01 to 07 degrees are expected on the Atlas mountains, 07 to 12 degrees on the south of the Oriental, the Rif and the south-eastern slopes, 12 to 18 degrees on the north of the Oriental, the Saïss, the Mediterranean, the Tangier region, the phosphate and Oulmès plateaus, the plains in the north and center of the country, the Souss, the southeast and the north of the southern provinces and 18 to 23 degrees on the rest of the southern provinces.
In the afternoon, temperatures should rise significantly. It should be 08 to 15 degrees on the Atlas mountains, 15 to 23 degrees on the Oriental, the Rif, the Mediterranean coast, the south-eastern slopes and the Atlantic plains, 23 to 31 degrees on the Saïss, the interior plains in the north and center of the country, the Souss, the southeast and the north of the southern provinces and 31 to 37 degrees on the rest of the southern provinces.
