Morocco Braces for Intense Heatwave as Temperatures Soar to 46°C (115°F)

Moroccans can expect a new heatwave week in the country where it should be very hot in a large part of the country with temperatures reaching up to 46 degrees.
In a new orange alert, the National Meteorology Directorate (DMN) indicates that it will be 42 to 46 degrees in the provinces of Tata, Zagora, Errachidia, Assa-Zag and the east of the provinces of Es-Semara and Aousserd.
Several orange, and sometimes even red, alerts had already been issued by DMN in recent weeks.
