Morocco Braces for Intense Heat Wave with Temperatures Soaring to 43°C

The Directorate General of Meteorology (DGM) forecasts a heat wave (38/43°C) tomorrow Saturday, May 7, 2022 to next Tuesday, May 10, 2022 in several Moroccan provinces.
Heat waves are returning to Morocco starting Saturday, May 7 and should continue until next Tuesday. They will affect the provinces of Taroudant, Agadir Ida-Outanane, Inezgane-Ait Melloul, Guelmim, Tan-Tan, Smara, Oued Edddahab and Aousserd, the DGM specifies in an orange alert bulletin.
The same phenomenon will occur on Sunday, May 8 to next Tuesday in the provinces of Tata, Tiznit, Chtouka-Ait Baha, Assa-Zag, Sidi Ifni, Laâyoune, Boujdour and Tarfaya.
