Extreme Heat Wave Hits Morocco: Temperatures Soar to 45°C in Multiple Provinces

After the thunderstorms, a heat wave with temperatures ranging between 38°C and 45°C is expected from Wednesday to next Saturday in several provinces of the kingdom, including Fez.
This heat wave of 42°C to 45°C will affect the provinces of Tata, Assa-Zag, Es-Semara, Aousserd and Oued Ed-dahab from Wednesday to Saturday, the DGM specifies in a weather alert bulletin at the orange alert level.
Temperatures of 39°C to 44°C are expected from Thursday to Saturday in the provinces of Ouezzane, Taounate, Moulay Yacoub, Fez, El Hajeb, Meknes, Sefrou, Sidi Slimane, Khemisset, Sidi Kacem, Beni Mellal, Khenifra, Khouribga, Fquih Ben saleh, Settat, Youssoufia, El Kelaa des Sraghna, Essaouira, Chichaoua, Marrakech, Rhamna and Taroudant, adds the same source.
The DGM also announces that a heat wave with temperatures between 38 and 43°C will be recorded on Friday and Saturday in the provinces of Larache, Kenitra, Berrechid, Benslimane, Sidi Bennour, Errachidia, Zagora, Agadir Ida-Outanane, Inezegane Ait Melloul, Tiznit, Chtouka Ait Baha, Guelmim, Tan-Tan, Sidi Ifni and the interior of the provinces of Salé, Skhirate,-Témara, Nouacer, El Jadida, Safi and Boujdour.
