Morocco Braces for Intense Heat Wave as Temperatures Soar to 45°C

The heat wave continues in several regions of Morocco with temperatures reaching 45 degrees from this Friday.
According to the alert bulletin from the Directorate General of Meteorology (DGM), provinces such as Taounate, Ouezzane, Meknes, Fez, Marrakech, among others, will experience particularly high temperatures, ranging from 40 to 45°C from Friday to Tuesday. This heat wave is placed under an orange level of vigilance.
Similarly, cities like Casablanca, Mediouna, Nouaceur, Mohammedia and Rabat will not be spared, with temperatures ranging between 34 and 37°C from Sunday to Tuesday. Other provinces, including Larache, Chefchaouen and Kenitra, will experience temperatures between 37 and 42°C, still according to the same source. The summer is likely to be very hot in the country!
