Morocco Braces for Extreme Heat Wave as Temperatures Near 50°C (122°F)

A heat wave will hit several Moroccan provinces from this Friday until Sunday, warns the Directorate General of Meteorology (DGM).
Temperatures ranging between 46 and 49°C will particularly affect the provinces of Taroudant, Marrakech, Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane, Laâyoune, and Oued Ed-Dahab, among others. The DGM has issued a red alert bulletin for these regions.
