Morocco Braces for Heatwave as Temperatures Soar to 34°C (93°F)

It should be hot today in Morocco with temperatures comfortably exceeding 30 degrees, especially in the south of the country and in the Souss region.
In its daily bulletin, the National Meteorology Directorate (DMN) announces moderate wind in the Tangier region and the southern provinces and stable weather everywhere else.
This morning, it is expected to be 1 to 6 degrees on the reliefs, 5 to 8 degrees on the eastern high plateaus, 8 to 14 degrees in the East, the north and the center, and 14 to 18 degrees in the southern provinces.
In the afternoon, temperatures should rise significantly to reach 34 degrees in the south of the country. It is thus expected to be 17 to 22 degrees on the reliefs, the East and the Mediterranean, 23 to 29 degrees on the northern and central plains and the southeast, and 28 to 34 degrees in the south and the interior of Souss.
