Morocco Braces for Heatwave: Temperatures to Soar up to 45°C in Multiple Provinces

While locally heavy thunderstorms hit Morocco yesterday, Tuesday, hot weather is expected in several provinces of Morocco until Sunday, according to forecasts from the Directorate General of Meteorology (DGM).
On Wednesday and Thursday, temperatures between 41 and 44 degrees are expected in the provinces of Béni Mellal, Kelaa des Sraghna, Fquih Ben Saleh, Guelmim, Khemisset, Khouribga, Marrakech, Rehamna and Settat.
According to the same DGM bulletin, until Sunday, temperatures ranging between 42 and 45 degrees will affect the provinces of Aousserd, Assa-Zag, Boujdour, Es-Smara, Oued Eddahab, Taroudant, Tata and Zagora.
