Morocco Braces for Intense Heat Wave with Temperatures Soaring to 45°C (113°F)

The heat is back in Morocco with temperatures ranging from 41 to 45 degrees until next Tuesday, announces the General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM) in an alert bulletin.
During this heat wave episode, the provinces of Aousserd, Assa-Zag, Boujdour, Es-Semara, Oued Ed-Dahab, Tata and Zagora will record temperatures ranging from 42 to 45 degrees.
As for the provinces of Taroudant, Errachidia, Beni-mellal, Khénifra, Kelaa des Sraghna, Fquih Ben Salah, Khémisset, Khouribga, Taounate, Moulay-Yakoub, Chefchaouen, Ouezzane, Fès, Sefrou, Guercif, Taza, Oujda-Angad, Ouarzazate and Taourirt, temperatures close to 44 degrees are to be feared on Saturday and Sunday, the same source specifies.
According to the same bulletin, temperatures ranging from 41 to 44 degrees are expected on Monday in the provinces of Taroudant, Béni-mellal, Kelaa des Sraghna, Fquih Ben Salah, Rehamna, Youssoufia, Marrakech, Khénifra, Khouribga, Khémisset, Taounate, Taza and Guercif.
