Morocco Bolsters Police Forces with 29 High-Tech 4x4 Vehicles to Combat Crime

In addition, the new vehicles are equipped with state-of-the-art intervention equipment, as well as a new tint distinct from the vehicles of the national security, it is specified.
Morocco now has 13 BRI spread across several prefectures as well as the Central Intervention Brigade at the level of the Directorate of Public Security (DSP) whose headquarters is in Rabat.
In January, the DGSN had completely modernized the uniform of its agents. It includes features allowing the identification of the officer, thanks to a metal badge on the chest indicating the identity and matriculation of its wearer, it was reported, adding that a "shoulder patch specifying the police brigade or unit to which the policeman belongs, and this in order to strengthen transparency in the work of the national police services."
In total, 400 million dirhams had been invested for the renewal of the uniform according to the press, a figure denied by the DGSN.
