Moroccan Police Investigate Alleged Child Abuse Case in Settat

An investigation has just been opened by the police services against a woman accused of violence and abuse on a 6-year-old child, announces the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN).
The opening of this investigation follows information provided by a representative of a human rights defense association, specifies the DGSN, in which he claims that the woman "deliberately harmed a minor in her care."
And the national security assures that the police immediately went to the woman’s home to start the investigation and "carry out the necessary observations and investigations." "The security services observed traces of scars and bruises on the child’s body who has family ties with the accused," it is also indicated, leading to a request for a medical examination to determine exactly the violence suffered by the child.
