To obtain this label, the beaches must meet many conditions, including water quality, cleanliness, hygiene, maintenance, equipment, safety, as well as environmental education. Unannounced checks are carried out throughout the season to ensure compliance with the label’s requirements, the statement said.

Among the Blue Flag winners for summer 2023 are notably Oued Laou, Essaouira, Mdiq, Sidi Ifni, Skhirate, Ain Diab extension and Safi Municipale.
