Morocco Boasts 28 Blue Flag Beaches, Leading Arab World in Clean Coastal Destinations

This summer, 28 beaches and 2 marinas in Morocco have received the Blue Flag label, awarded by the Mohammed VI Foundation for Environmental Protection. Good news for tourists and Moroccans residing abroad planning to spend their holidays in Morocco.
The number of labeled sites has increased this year compared to the previous year, with two new beaches, located in Marina Smir Est and Al Minaa, the foundation’s press release states. With 28 beaches, Morocco ranks first in the Arab world and second in Africa, the same source adds.
