Morocco’s Auto Sales Plummet 10% in August, Major Brands See Sharp Declines

A crisis that does not say its name: 10,231 new vehicles, all classifications combined, found buyers in August 2019. This is precisely what the statistics of the Association of Vehicle Importers in Morocco (AIVAM) reveal.
Declining since the beginning of the year, the month of August confirms the poor performance of the vehicle sales sector for individuals. A double-digit decline, according to statistics from the Association of Vehicle Importers in Morocco (AIVAM). This is a spectacular drop of -10.04% for the entire market.
However, some exceptional growth is noted for Suzuki, Kia, Opel and Hyundai. Meanwhile, the list of declines is quite long: Volvo (-51.22%), Nissan (-49.66%), Jaguar (-58.33%), Ford (-45.97%), Fiat (-41.32%) and Audi (-20%).
