Morocco Arrests Two ISIS-Linked Suspects in Rabat Anti-Terror Operation

Two individuals linked to the so-called "Islamic State" organization were arrested this Sunday in Morocco. Aged 30 and 34, they were active in Rabat.
In a statement, the Central Bureau of Judicial Investigations (BCIJ) indicates that it has seized various electronic devices as well as bladed weapons.
According to the same source, this security operation confirms the continued terrorist threats posed by the Daesh group and its supporters. They continue to make threats of carrying out terrorist operations in retaliation for the defeat of this group in its strongholds on the Syrian-Iraqi scene, the same statement said.
The two suspects were apprehended and placed in custody, under the supervision of the competent Prosecutor’s Office, in order to elucidate the circumstances of their involvement in the preparation and planning of terrorist acts.
