Morocco Arrests Former Detainee in Ongoing ISIS-Linked Terror Cell Investigation

The deepening of the ongoing investigations into the terrorist cell affiliated with "Daesh", dismantled on Tuesday in Casablanca, Mohammedia and Azilal, continues to bear fruit. The Ministry of the Interior announced on Wednesday the arrest, in the commune of Skhour Rhamna, of a former detainee.
The person concerned had already been arrested once, for his close link with the members of the said cell and its terrorist plans, indicates a press release from the Ministry of the Interior. Similarly, six extremists were arrested in the same cities, by the Central Bureau of Judicial Investigations (BCIJ).
These individuals are involved in the planning and execution of terrorist operations in Morocco, with a view to the proclamation of a wilaya affiliated with "Daesh", according to the Map.
Pending the completion of the investigations, which will certainly lead to the referral of the accused to justice, they have been placed in custody.
