A terrorist cell was dismantled this Tuesday in Nador, by elements of the Central Bureau of Judicial Investigations (BCIJ). The group composed of four individuals has links with Daesh.
This terrorist group maintains, according to the Ministry of the Interior, links with Daesh. One of the brothers of the four apprehended elements is a fighter of this terrorist group.
This net cast by the Central Bureau of Judicial Investigations (BCIJ) is part of the efforts made to combat the terrorist networks that threaten the stability of the Kingdom. Thus, based on precise information, the four outlaws, aged between 21 and 26, were arrested, a statement from the Ministry of the Interior said.
The same source reveals that these four individuals, supporters of the so-called "Islamic State" organization, were planning terrorist attacks targeting in particular the sensitive sites of the Kingdom. The initial investigations of the BCIJ under the Directorate General of Territorial Surveillance (DGST) confirm that the four arrested individuals were closely linked to "the members of the terrorist cell" carrying out sinister projects and which had been dismantled, "on 04/12/2019 as part of a joint security cooperation between the Moroccan security services and their Spanish counterparts".
