Morocco Dismantles Daesh-Linked Terror Cell Planning Attacks

The elements of the Central Bureau of Judicial Investigation (BCIJ) announced, this Monday, the dismantling of a terrorist cell in Inezgane and Ait Melloul. The members of this cell were planning "the execution of terrorist operations".
According to a press release from the BCIJ, this cell is composed of three members, aged between 26 and 28, affiliated with the terrorist group Daesh. They were preparing to obtain firearms and substances used in the manufacture of explosives to "shake the safety and security of the Kingdom".
During this operation, "bladed weapons, electronic equipment and documents of an extremist nature were seized", the same press release states. Arrested, the members of this cell were placed in custody for the needs of the investigation, pending their appearance before the judge.
