Morocco Arrests ISIS-Linked Extremist in Guelmim, Seizes Electronic Devices

An extremist linked to the Islamic State, active in the city of Guelmim, was arrested by the services of the Central Bureau of Judicial Investigation (BCIJ).
The investigations revealed that the 31-year-old suspect was advocating the extremist ideology of Daesh, through electronic applications.
This allowed him to serve the agenda of the Islamic State, it is explained in a press release which specifies that the young man had a brother who was a fighter of the IS on the Syrian-Iraqi scene.
The operation carried out by the BCIJ proved fruitful: several electronic devices, mobile phones and electrical cables were seized.
At the end of the investigation, the suspect will be brought before the courts.
