BCIJ Arrests ISIS-Linked Extremist Planning Suicide Attacks in Meknes

A 41-year-old extremist who pledged allegiance to the Islamic State of Daesh was arrested in Meknes by the Central Bureau of Judicial Investigations (BCIJ).
The individual, suspected of preparing suicide terrorist attacks, was active in the search for information on the use of explosives while conducting propaganda campaigns for Daesh’s extremist ideology.
This information was communicated by the BCIJ in coordination with the judicial police of Meknes, who carried out a raid at the suspect’s home.
Electronic equipment as well as manuscripts containing the preparatory mode of the explosives were seized during the search, while the accused was placed in police custody pending being brought before the courts.
