Morocco Arrests Six Suspected ISIS Supporters in Marrakech-Safi Region

The Central Bureau of Judicial Investigation (BCIJ) has just neutralized six individuals suspected of affiliation with Daesh. They are known for their admiration for this terrorist group, of which they regularly made the apology in the popular neighborhoods.
It is in the Marrakech region that the six individuals suspected of wanting to join Daesh were arrested. The operation was a success thanks to precise information provided by the DGST, which allowed the elements of the Royal Gendarmerie of Ait Ourir to first arrest three radicalized individuals. The three other accused were arrested by elements of the BCIJ because of the suspicious activities carried out in the province of Safi and in the douar "Koudia" belonging to the commune of Sidi Tiji, as well as in the old medina, reports Al Massae.
There is no doubt that the accused had already pledged allegiance to terrorist organizations, of which they regularly made the apology. A police squad arrested a first suspect, aged 20, who had joined the terrorist organization Daesh while he was in his uncle’s house, in the "Amouni" neighborhood.
This operation made it possible to arrest J.B, aged 22 and living in the Amouni neighborhood, K.N, aged 22 and living in the Koudia douar, as well as H.B, aged 52 and from the old medina.
The six accused will be brought before the justice as soon as the investigations, which are carried out under the supervision of the public prosecutor’s office, are completed, the same source indicates.
