Morocco Arrests Two for Inciting COVID-19 Lockdown Violations in Tangier

The police arrested two individuals in Tangier on Sunday. They are accused of inciting gathering and violating the confinement imposed on citizens to counter the COVID-19 pandemic.
The judicial police services of Tangier arrested two individuals, aged 24 and 42, one of whom had a criminal record, for their alleged involvement in inciting gathering and disobedience, threatening the lives of others and violating the measures introduced as part of the state of health emergency decreed to curb the spread of the coronavirus, according to a press release from the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN).
