Morocco Appliance Scam: 4 Arrested for Online Fraud
Four people have been arrested in Agadir for their suspected involvement in a fraud case targeting household appliance retailers. The group is suspected of trapping several sellers with fake orders placed on the Internet.
According to Alyaoum24, the suspects, aged 29 to 38, placed orders for household appliances on online platforms. Once the goods were retrieved, they fled in light vehicles without paying the amounts owed.

The investigation was opened following complaints filed by merchants who fell victim to this method. Investigations conducted by the judicial police of Tikiouine made it possible to identify the suspects and proceed with their arrest.

The four accused were placed in police custody, under the supervision of the competent prosecutor’s office. The investigation must now determine the extent of this activity and verify the existence of other victims.
