Moroccan Couple Arrested at Agadir Airport for International Fraud Scheme

The security services of Agadir Al Massira Airport arrested on Tuesday a Moroccan couple aged 21 and 24, for their alleged involvement in cases of fraud and scam.
The couple was apprehended upon disembarking from a flight from Istanbul airport. After verifying their identities in the database, the agents discovered that the man and the woman were the subject of several national search warrants issued by the judicial police services of the city of Agadir, as well as an international arrest warrant issued by the Moroccan judicial authorities for cases of fraud, scam and extortion within the framework of a pyramid marketing network.
The initial elements of the investigation conducted by the regional judicial police service of the city of Agadir, under the supervision of the competent prosecutor’s office, indicate that the suspects defrauded several victims to whom they asked to invest in a pyramid marketing network, promising them significant profits.
