Morocco Apologizes for Upside-Down Spanish Flag at Royal Dinner with PM Sánchez

The Spanish flag was placed upside down during the iftar organized on Thursday by King Mohammed VI in honor of Pedro Sanchez, visiting Rabat. An unintentional protocol error, assures the Moroccan side.
The Spanish flag was placed upside down by mistake during the iftar, said Moroccan diplomatic sources to La Razón. This detail, pointed out by Internet users on social networks after the publication of the official photos of the event, had not even attracted the attention of the Spanish protocol members who, in principle, had been associated with the preparation of this official dinner.

"The important thing are the agreements," the same sources stressed, specifying that the flag was properly placed during the meeting between the Spanish head of government and his Moroccan counterpart, Aziz Akhannouch, as evidenced by the photos of this meeting that were also published.
