Morocco’s King Hosts Ramadan Iftar for Spanish PM Sanchez, Strengthening Diplomatic Ties

On a visit to Morocco at the invitation of King Mohammed VI, the President of the Spanish Government, Pedro Sanchez, participated in an iftar offered in his honor by the Sovereign.
Accompanied by Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan and Prince Moulay Rachid, Mohammed VI offered, on Thursday, at the Royal Residence in Salé, an iftar in honor of Pedro Sanchez, the Spanish Prime Minister.
On the Spanish side, in addition to Pedro Sanchez, were also the Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, José Manuel Albares, and the Spanish Ambassador to Rabat, Ricardo Diez-Hochleitner.
On the Moroccan side, the Moroccan Prime Minister, Aziz Akhannouch, the King’s Advisor, Fouad Ali El Himma, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Residing Abroad, Nasser Bourita, were also invited to this iftar meal.
