Morocco and Israel Plant ’Friendship Cedar’ in Vienna, Symbolizing Growing Ties

The ambassadors of Morocco and Israel in Vienna recently planted an Atlas cedar at the embassy of the Hebrew state, a symbol of the growing peace and friendship between the two countries.
Following the restoration of ties on December 10, 2020, Mr. Ezzedine Farhan, the Moroccan ambassador, and his Israeli counterpart Mr. Mordechai Rodgold in Austria, materialized the restoration of diplomatic relations by planting a "cedar of friendship" underground.
Since the reopening of borders, many Moroccan and Israeli companies have begun to expand their economic transactions and explore new business prospects.
It should also be recalled that direct flights between Israel and Morocco should be undertaken starting tomorrow, Sunday, July 25th.
