New Morocco-Israel Friendship Group Aims to Boost Cultural and Economic Ties

An association called the "Morocco-Israel Friendship Circle" was launched on Thursday to strengthen the ties of cooperation and brotherhood between the two populations.
Headed by Gabriel Banon, a former advisor to Yasser Arafat, this circle aims to be a framework for dialogue and exchange focused on the development of cultural, economic and societal relations between the two countries and peoples.
The association also plans to promote the frame of universal values that can accompany the principles of a just and lasting peace between the Palestinians and the Israelis in the Middle East, in accordance with the royal guidelines but above all following the recommendations of the historic Declaration of December 22, 2020 signed between the high-level American-Israeli delegation and Morocco.
