Morocco and France Conduct Joint Military Exercise ’Chergui 2022’ with 2,500 Troops

The Royal Armed Forces (FAR) and the French army organized the joint military exercise called Chergui 2022 from March 3 to 25. These military maneuvers mobilized Moroccan and French soldiers and helicopters in Errachidia.
In total, 2,500 Moroccan and French soldiers and 12 military helicopters, including 6 from each country, took part in this military exercise whose objective is the consolidation of joint planning capacity and the development of interoperability between the two armies.
The 14th edition of this military exercise is part of a Franco-Moroccan partnership between the Royal Armed Forces (FAR) and the 4th Air Combat Brigade of the French Army (4th BAC).
